Road-STEAMer is excited to announce a significant event on STE(A)M education policy, practices and funding, taking place at Panteion University in Athens on 14 January 2025.
We invite educators, researchers, game designers, and creative professionals to participate in a three-hour workshop titled “Video Games in STEAM and as STEAM: Learning and Innovating Through Play.” This workshop presents a playful opportunity to explore how the principles of STEAM can be integrated with innovative game design to create engaging and educational experiences. Additionally, we will examine how video games inherently incorporate STEAM logic and the lessons they offer.

During the 2024 Ecsite Annual Conference, a group of projects from the OStogether network hosted a session on the potential of open schooling. The session was featured by an introduction to the STEAM criteria identified by Road-STEAMer.
