As the Road-STEAMer project enters its final phase in 2025, we continue to explore meaningful opportunities to extend our mission: building inclusive, transdisciplinary STEAM education ecosystems across Europe.
To assess the overall impact of RoadSTEAMer, we have launched a brief stakeholder survey. The aim is to understand whether the project has achieved its intended objectives and to uncover any unexpected outcomes or additional benefits.
On 2 July 2025, the STE(A)M ATLAS conference brought together a diverse and dynamic community of educators, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to explore the future of STE(A)M education in Europe.
The โOpen Schooling in Action: Building Lasting Partnerships for Educational Innovationโ Deep Dive at Ecsite Conference 2025 brought together a diverse group of educators, researchers, museum professionals, and community actors for a dynamic, four-hour session on the future of Open Schooling in Europe.

The Road-STEAMer project hosted a workshop as part of the Educating the Educators (ETE) conference in Cyprus, entitled โFrom Criteria to Practice: Co-Creating Sustainable STEAM Learning.โ
On 30 April 2025 the Lisbon Council, coordinator of Road-STEAMer, had the honour and pleasure of conveningย the 2025 Skills Summit: Transforming STEM Education for Competitiveness and Social Fairness, opened by Roxana Mรฎnzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness.
On 24th April 2025 the Road-STEAMEr project took part in a conference hosted by Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs brought together educators, researchers, and policymakers to explore current developments in STEAM education in Ukraine, particularly in the context of European integration.
