The Road-STEAMer project will participate at the Ecsite 2025 Conference, taking place at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, Poland. Participants will acquire knowledge on practical tools, strategies, and best practices from experts in Open Schooling. The session will offer a dynamic space to exchange ideas, and advance impactful learning models.

After having launched the first version of the 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞 , the Road-STEAMer project is looking for feedback and further insights from you.

The Road-STEAMer project hosted a workshop as part of the Educating the Educators (ETE) conference in Cyprus, entitled “From Criteria to Practice: Co-Creating Sustainable STEAM Learning.”

On 30 April 2025 the Lisbon Council, coordinator of Road-STEAMer, had the honour and pleasure of convening  the 2025 Skills Summit: Transforming STEM Education for Competitiveness and Social Fairness, opened by Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness.

On 24th April 2025 the Road-STEAMEr project took part in a conference hosted by Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs brought together educators, researchers, and policymakers to explore current developments in STEAM education in Ukraine, particularly in the context of European integration.

The Road-STEAMer project will participate at the 5th International Conference on Professional Development in Mathematics and Science Education (Educating the Educators – ETE V) in Limassol, 8th-9th May 2025.

The Open Schooling Together Newsletter #23 highlights exciting progress across Europe, including Road-STEAMer STEAM policy recommendations, resources to promote gender equality in STEM, and upcoming events.

On Friday 21 March, Road-STEAMer had a joint workshop with its "sister projects" The SEER and Sense.STEAM. Cross-project collaboration will continue over the coming months to ensure that the three roadmaps for advancing STEAM education across Europe.

Road-STEAMer will present its vision of inclusive STE(A)M education, highlighting key findings, tools, and strategies at “STE(A)M: The Future of Inclusive Education?” webinar in collaboration with SpicE, The SEER and SENSE projects.

The Road-STEAMer project in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Malta took part in a global movement, joining 134 simultaneous events worldwide to celebrate Equal Day and bringing the 'Science in the City' festival in the schools.
