Calling all educators, teachers, and practitioners in Malta! Join us for the Road-STEAMer Co-Creation workshop “Creating STEAMwaves: Artistic Approaches and Best Practices for Youth Engagement” designed to inspire and empower those passionate about STEAM education.

Workshop Highlights: Gain valuable insights from experts from ECSITE, the University of Malta, the Lisbon Council. These professionals will share their personal experiences in running successful STEAM projects, utilising artistic and alternative approaches that engage learners. They will cover some best examples of STEAM education around Europe that can benefit attendees, teaching approaches while inspiring creativity in their students.

Workshop Agenda:

  1. Introduction to Road-STEAMer project — Dr Edward Duca
  2. Stephanos Cherouvis from ECSITE and Chrysoula Mitta from Lisbon Council, sharing their expertise, insights, and lessons learned from their STEAM initiatives.
  3. World Cafe session to share STEAM educational experiences, discuss how people can use these approaches in their work, and how STEAM education can be effectively embedded in Malta.
  4. STEAM Clinic session: attendees can bring their own STEM activity and the team will help them add more creative pedagogies and artistic approaches either during or after the workshop.
